The International Indian Treaty Council (IITC) is hosting a Human and Treaty Rights Training Workshop and a hearing with the Chair of the United Nations Working Group on the issue of human rights, transnational corportations, and other business enterprises. The workshop on Sunday, January 22 is co-sponsored by the ACLU and will include sessions on business and human rights and an overview of the regional and UN human rights systems, and training and information on documenting human rights violations.

Monday's program features testimonies by tribal and community members on human rights violations cause by the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) construction and police response.
