Medical decisions belong to trans youth, their parents and their doctors – not the government – and it is unconstitutional to single out one group of people and categorically ban all care.

Regardless of how you may feel about pronouns, it is important to use the pronouns someone uses for themselves. No one is harmed by allowing teachers, administrators and counselors to create a safe and welcoming educational environment for students in our public schools.

The bills would take away private health care choices around the provision of medical care consistent with prevailing medical and scientific standards. Such choices should be made between a doctor and a patient, not politicians.
